Custom Domains

The Custom Domains feature lets you attach a domain name that you already own (registered at a domain name registrar such as Hover, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc) to your Burner Mail account.

When a Custom Domain is attached & verified with your Burner Mail account, you will be able to generate burner addresses that end in that custom domain (eg. myburner@mydomain.com).

To attach a custom domain to your Burner Mail account, navigate to the Custom Domains page and click on the “+ Add custom domain” button. Enter the domain name in the input and click “Add”.

Next, some instructions will pop-up on how to configure your domain name to work with Burner Mail. Follow the on-screen instructions and then wait for the DNS settings to propagate. It may take up to 48h for the records to fully propagate.

After those hours have passed, you can come back to the Custom Domains page and click on the Refresh button next to the domain that you added earlier. If everything went well, it will turn to Verified. Now you can use it with your Burner Mail account wherever you have the option to select a domain.
